Rebecca Mergy joined the Gators staff in January 2024 as a Football Performance Dietitian. Rebecca arrives from Wake Forest University where she was the Football Sports Nutrition Fellow. Prior to that Rebecca served as a Graduate Intern for University of Georgia Football from 2021 to 2023.  
 
A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Rebecca earned her Masters degree from the University of Georgia and her Bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University. Rebecca completed her Dietetic Internship through the University of Houston.
