Florida Gators

After joining the Gators in 2011, Reuel Joaquin now serves as the director of video services for football since 2015. His primary role is overseeing the day to day operations of the Video Services Department as it relates to all sports, but with a primary focus on Football. He is also responsible for assessing and making strategic recommendations for budgeting the purchase of video equipment and new technologies as it applies to filming UAA Athletic Events and more.
 
Joaquin is a two-time Southeastern Conference Video Coordinator of the Year. He was named to the honor by the Collegiate Sports Video Association following the 2016 and 2023 football seasons. He was selected by a majority vote of his peers in the SEC to receive the honor.
 
Prior to Florida, Joaquin racked up a wealth of experience working with the Notre Dame football program as the assistant video coordinator from 2007 to 2011.  During his time with the Fighting Irish, Joaquin gained knowledge in filming, editing, and uploading all scheduled football practices and games at the intercollegiate level.
 
Joaquin spent a large portion of his early career floating around the broadcast and video departments of the Jacksonville Jaguars.  He worked briefly in Germany, where he enhanced his sports video knowledge on an international stage with the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe, before returning to the Jaguars.
 
Born in San Diego, CA, Joaquin and his wife Kalen have one son, Hayes and reside in Alachua, FL.
