Will joined the Gator Women’s tennis coaching staff in 2015 upon returning to Gainesville after two seasons playing professional tennis. During her three years representing the school as a player, UF won two NCAA National Championships, three SEC Championships and three SEC Tournament Championships. Will shares with players what she learned about tennis, teamwork, and effort from her teammates, Will expects to receive her diploma from the UF College of Journalism and Communications in spring 2016.

Will’s team accomplishments are highlighted by playing an integral role in the Gators Women’s Tennis Teams 2011 and 2012 NCAA National Champion seasons, NCAA National runner-up in 2010, being crowned 2010, 2011 & 2012 SEC Champion, 2010, 2011 & 2012 SEC Tournament Champion, and 2010 USTA/ITA National Indoor Tennis Championship runner-up, representing the United States in the 2010 annual Master’U BNP Paribas (an international collegiate competition held in Rouen, France), being a member of the 2010, 2011 & 2012 USTA Summer Collegiate Teams, and winning every team match played against SEC opponents.
Will’s collegiate player accomplishments include receiving the 2012 Neal Anderson Scholastic Award (team award, highest GPA), being honored as the 2012 ITA Scholar-Athlete, 2011 & 2012 SEC Academic Honor Roll, being honored by her teammates as UF Women’s Tennis Team’s 2010 & 2011 Most Valuable Player, 2010 ITA National Indoor Doubles Champion (with Sofie Oyen), 2010 ITA Southeast Regional Doubles Champion (with Sofie Oyen), 2012 NCAA Singles Semifinalist, 2010 NCAA Doubles Semifinalist (with Marrit Boonstra), 2011 Riviera/ITA All American Singles Champion, 2011 Riviera/ITA All American Doubles Finalist (with Sofie Oyen), 2010 Riviera/ITA All-American Singles Consolation Champion, 2009 Riviera/ITA All American Doubles Finalist (with Lauren Embree), 2009 Southeast Regional Singles Champion, Career-high ITA singles ranking: 1 (eight times, Feb. 16, 28, March 13, 27, April 10, 17, 24 & 30, 2012), Career-high ITA doubles ranking: 1 (seven weeks, all with Sofie Oyen, being the Only Gator to be No. 1 seed in both NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, being honored as All-American for both Singles and Doubles in 2010, 2011 & 2012, being named, 2011 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, 2010, 2011 & 2012 All-SEC First Team, 2011 SEC Tournament Most Valuable Performer, 2012 ITA Collegiate All-Star Team for singles and doubles, named to the 2011 ITA Collegiate All-Star Team, 2011 SEC All-Tournament Team, and honored as SEC Player of the Week (April 18, 2011; Feb. 6 and April 4,2012), 2010 SEC Freshman of the Year, 2010 ITA All-Tournament Team – National Indoor Championships, 2010 All-SEC Freshman Team, 2010, 2011 SEC All-Tournament Team, SEC Freshman of the Week (4-times – February 3, February 16, March 31, April 20, 2010).
Will’s accomplishments as a junior tennis player include 2006 Orange Bowl Junior Championships Girls’ 16 singles Champion, 2006 National Public Parks Tournament Champion (Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, N.Y.), being a member of the 2009 New York Buzz of the World Team Tennis league, and representing the State of Florida and ultimately winning the 2005 Nike Junior Girls 14 Singles Championship to represented U.S. in Nice, France. Will’s tennis career was nurtured during her junior career by University of Florida Hall of Fame Coach, Andy Brandi.
Professional Career Highlights:
Will played professional tennis for two years following the completion of her collegiate playing career, earned a WTA singles ranking of No. 280, doubles ranking of 98, won 11 ITF doubles championships, was runner-up in six ITF doubles tournaments, and runner-up in three ITF singles tournaments.
