GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 7 University of Florida women's tennis team will face off against the No. 8 University of South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday afternoon at the Carolina Tennis Center in Columbia, S.C. The Gators and Gamecocks are each 6-0 in SEC play and sit atop the SEC team standings, along with the Georgia Bulldogs.
Florida is coming off a successful weekend of steamrolling two SEC opponents, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, 4-0 during their road trip to the Magnolia State.
The Orange and Blue are on a six-match winning streak with a number of singles players with competitive winning streaks on the line this weekend. Anna Danilina extended her singles winning streak to six matches on Sunday at Mississippi State and Spencer Liang pushed her respective win streak to five matches.
The Gators continue to dominate in doubles play this season with a combined record of 25-4 in dual match play, while only surrendering the doubles point once to Kentucky. Danilina and Brianna Morgan have clinched the last three doubles points for UF.
Florida's match against South Carolina is the Orange and Blue's lone contest of the weekend. The Gators will return home to the friendly confines of the Ring Tennis Complex next Thursday night to take on the LSU Tigers and then have their home regular season finale on Saturday against Texas A&M.

Florida secured the doubles point over the Gamecocks on March 28, 2015 and then quickly used straight set victories on courts one, three and six to clinch the match. Senior Morgan grabbed the match-clinching win on three.
