Gators Look for SEC Perfection Sunday Against the Volunteers

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The No. 4 University of Florida women's tennis team is vying for the program's 24th undefeated season in the Southeastern Conference on Sunday afternoon in Knoxville. The Gators take on the Tennessee Volunteers at 1 p.m.
Florida clinched the 2016 SEC Regular Season Championship outright on Friday night with their 4-0 sweep of the Georgia Bulldogs. The Gators secured the doubles point for the 17th match this season and then Danilina, Keegan and Morgan grabbed singles wins to seal the sweep. The title is the 29th in program history and 11th under the direction of Roland Thornqvist.
Up next, the Orange and Blue will begin postseason play at the 2016 Southeastern Conference Tournament in Baton Rouge, La.
Last Serve with the Volunteers
The Gators swept the Vols in Gainesville on April 12, 2015 to clinch the 2015 SEC Regular Season Championship. Kuhlman and Woolcock clinched the doubles point on court two and then three Gators won their respective singles matches in under an hour and ten minutes. Austin and Keegan were the first off the courts and Woolcock sealed the win on five.

Florida is undefeated in the all-time series, 42-0.
