Florida junior forward Thomas Haugh earned SEC Player of the Week honors, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday. Haugh helped the Gators to a rivalry sweep this past week as Florida defeated both Florida State and Miami.
Haugh posted a double-double with a team-high 20 points along with 13 rebounds in the win vs. Florida State on Tuesday, then followed that with a 17-point, nine-rebound outing in the neutral-site win vs. Miami on Sunday.
The double-double vs. FSU was the fifth of his career and his second 20-point double-double (20 points, 11 rebounds vs. Texas Tech; March 29, 2025). The New Oxford, Pa., native has scored double digits in all four games this season. He leads the Gators with 19.0 points per game and is averaging 8.5 rebounds per game.
This marks the first SEC weekly honor of Haugh's career.
The Gators return to action at home on Friday at 7 p.m. vs. Merrimack.
