Five Gators Earn SEC Postseason Honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Five university of Florida volleyball players earned SEC postseason honors, as the league announced its 2025 postseason awards presented by Allstate on Wednesday.
Florida 2025 SEC Postseason Awards:
All-SEC First Team – Jaela Auguste
The sophomore earned a spot on the All-SEC First Team, marking the fourth SEC postseason honor of her career after collecting three accolades in her rookie campaign. The Spring, Texas native was named the 2024 SEC Freshman of the Year and secured places on both the All-SEC Second Team and the All-Freshman Team last season. Auguste also garnered 2025 Preseason All-SEC recognition.
The 6-2 middle blocker posted a team-best .359 hitting percentage during the regular season, having 250 kills (2.63/set). At the net, she's totaled a team-high 97 blocks (1.02/set) and leads the way for Florida behind the service line with 27 aces.
Auguste has appeared in the starting lineup for Florida in all 24 matches. She has led the team in blocks 13 times, hitting percentage 10 times, aces eight times, points seven times and kills once. When having at least 10 hitting attempts, she's hit .300 or better 18 times, including a career-best .722 clip (14-5-28) at Georgia on Oct. 31 and has reached double-digit kills in 14 matches. Overall, Auguste has registered a hitting percentage between .300-.399 eight times, .400-.499 four times, .500-.599 four times and twice at .600 or higher.
In SEC play, she's ranked seventh in the league for hitting percentage (.346) and No. 10 in aces per set (0.28).
All-SEC Second Team – Jordyn Byrd & Alexis Stucky
The honor marks Byrd's first SEC postseason award in her debut season. The redshirt sophomore has led Florida's offense 19 times during the regular season as well as 15 times in points and once in blocks. The 6-4 outside hitter currently leads the Gators in kills with 354 (3.77/set) and in points with 381 (4.05/set). The Sarasota, Florida, native has registered double-digit kills in 21 of the Gators' 24 regular-season matches, including four showings with 20 or more.
Byrd was also added to the AVCA National Player of the Year Watchlist in October, joining 16 additions to the 30 original nominees announced in August. Additionally, she claimed MVP honors in Florida's Week 0 upset over No. 3 Pitt at the AVCA First Serve Showcase.
Stucky collects the fifth SEC postseason accolade of her career, having been named the 2022 SEC Freshman of the Year and received All-SEC recognition that same season. She also earned SEC Preseason Team honors in both 2023 and 2024 and was selected to the 2023 SEC Community Service Team.
After officially working her way back to full strength following a torn ACL in 2023, the Laramie, Wyoming native has dished out 883 assists during the regular season to average 9.81 per set, while adding 215 digs (2.39/set), 69 kills, 43 blocks and 16 aces. She ranked third in SEC play with 10.53 assists per set and helped guide Florida to a top-five mark in league assists, where the Gators rank fifth at 12.64 per set.
Throughout Florida's 24 regular season matches, Stucky has led in assists in 23, while also finishing with team-highs in digs four times, in aces and blocks three times and twice in hitting percentage. The 6-2 setter has recorded 12 double-doubles and stands as the only player in the conference with a triple-double after having 42 assists, 12 digs and 10 kills against Auburn on Oct. 3. Additionally, she has logged four matches with 50 or more assists and nine with over 40.
Stucky currently sits No. 10 in program history with 2,877 career assists, needing only six to reach No. 9. She surpassed the 2,000 assist milestone in only 63 matches, reaching the mark in Florida's season opener against Stanford on Aug. 22.
All-Freshman Team – Lily Hayes & Milica Vidacic
Freshmen Lily Hayes and Milica Vidacic each secured their first postseason conference honors.
Hayes becomes the first Florida freshman since 2006 to open the season in the libero jersey and earned her first regular-season league honor on Oct. 13 after being named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week. The Tampa, Florida native anchors the Gators' backcourt with a team-high 348 digs (3.66/set), leading Florida in digs 17 times and twice in aces during the regular season. She has finished in double digits defensively in 20 matches, including four with 20 or more.
Overall, Hayes ranks ninth in the SEC with 3.66 digs per set, while standing sixth in SEC play with 3.77 digs per set.
Arriving from Serbia, Vidacic made her collegiate debut at the AVCA First Serve after being on campus for just two weeks. The 6-4 opposite hitter delivered a standout performance against Stanford with 10 kills, five blocks and four digs, before having 10 kills and two blocks in Florida's win over No. 3 Pitt.
Appearing in 22 of Florida's 24 regular-season matches, Vidacic has posted double-digit kills five times, highlighted by a career-high 18 against Alabama. She has totaled 128 kills, 10 aces, 30 blocks and 153.5 point while hitting .300 or higher in four matches to lead the Gators in hitting percentage four times. Additionally, she has paced Florida in aces three times, delivering clutch moments from the service line when needed.
