GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Redshirt freshman Ella Vogel represents Florida volleyball on the 2025 Southeastern Conference's Volleyball Community Service Team presented by Allstate, as the league highlighted 16 student-athlete representatives who have given back to their community in superior service efforts.
Vogel's Community Service:
Vogel has contributed numerous hours to multiple organizations across campus and throughout the Gainesville community. She has been a valuable part of Florida's Gator Experience Program, participating in the annual Gator Tracks holiday wrapping party. She has helped organize and wrap 500 donated shoes for students in Alachua County schools who are on free or reduced lunch. She has also been involved in UF Camp Dream and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Tours, helping create memorable experiences for youth and Gator fans.
In the Gainesville community, Vogel has been a consistent presence at St. Francis House, serving breakfast multiple times over her two years. She has contributed to Read Across Williams Day, promoting literacy among elementary school students and participated in the Bed Race to End Childhood Homelessness in support of Family Promise of Gainesville. Vogel has taken part in Tim Tebow's Night to Shine, which provides individuals with special needs an unforgettable prom night experience.
She serves as the Executive Board Mental Health Chair for UF's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where she leads initiatives to promote mental health and create safe spaces for her peers. In addition, Vogel is an athlete-to-athlete mentor, providing guidance and support to fellow student-athletes. She is also actively involved in her faith, serving on the Alive Church Service Team and participating in Made for More – Collegiate Ministry. Through this ministry, Vogel traveled to Costa Rica in May with several UF student-athletes, where they helped run sports camps at a local high school and partnered with Filter of Hope to bring clean drinking water to communities in need.
