Henry Jefferson, Jeremy Jin, Tanapatt Nirundorn and Andreas Timini all received rankings for singles and doubles after the conclusion of the fall season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators fall season came to an end over the weekend at the NCAA tournament, where the doubles team of Henry Jefferson and Tanapatt Nirundorn made it to the competition's semifinals and Jeremy Jin competed in the singles round of 64.
Four Gators received rankings in both singles and doubles, with all earning career high rankings.
Singles
Jin entered the 2025 fall season with a preseason ranking of No. 45. Since that release, Jin has jumped 14 spots to become No. 31. Jin collected a record of 6-4 to finish the season and claimed one tournament title at the ITA Conference Masters, where he represented the Southeastern Conference in the men's singles. While Jin did not have the showing he wanted in the NCAA tournament, he did go three sets against tournament semifinalist Trevor Svajda from SMU who is now ranked at No. 2.
Although he did not qualify for the singles portion of the tournament, Jefferson also received a ranking for his 2025 fall performance. Jefferson is ranked at No. 115 after earning a 7-4, which was highlighted by his performance in the ITA All-American tournament where he started in pre-qualifiers to play all the way to the competition's main draw.
Doubles
The Gators had two doubles teams earn rankings, with senior Nirundorn a member of both pairings.
Nirundorn and Jefferson had a career best run in the NCAA tournament, making it all the way to the semifinals to earn a final fall ranking of No. 6. The duo received a bid for the tournament in their first competition of the season at ITA All-Americans, in which they also made it to the semifinals of that tournament. The pairing collected an overall record of 6-2 with a record of 5-2 over opponents in the preseason rankings.
Nirundorn also saw action with freshman Andreas Timini during the fall season to earn a ranking of No. 71. While the two did not qualify for the NCAA tournament, they did post a record of 6-1 and went undefeated in the Holmes Cathrall Memorial Invitational at Penn State.
