
No. 21 Men’s Tennis Host Three Matches to Close Out Their Season Home Action

Florida will host three opponents this weekend to close out their home matches in the 2026 dual season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators will face three opponents this weekend in a last-minute addition to the schedule. The team was previously scheduled to play Vanderbilt on Thursday, April 2 at 5 p.m. EST and LSU on Saturday, April 4 at noon EST, but will now have an additional match on April 4 against Presbyterian College at 5 p.m. EST to close finish their final home matches.
With their final home matches taking place on Saturday, April 4, the team will take time to recognize and celebrate their three seniors prior to the start of their match against the LSU Tigers.
The Gators enter the weekend ranked at No. 21 by the ITA with four players ranked in singles and one doubles pairing ranked. The four singles players include Pablo Perez Ramos at No. 48, Henry Jefferson at No. 60, Jeremy Jin at No. 81 and Adhithya Ganesan at No. 96. In doubles, the pairing of Tanapatt Nirundorn and Jefferson saw a big jump after their performance against Oklahoma on court one. The duo jumped from being No. 22 in the rankings all the way to No. 8.
Recapping the Weekend
Florida went the distance against Oklahoma but ultimately came up short with a 4-3 loss to the Sooners on Sunday, March 29. While the team was not able to walk away with the win, some individual successes were noted in the dual. The doubles pairing of Jefferson and Nirundorn, who were at No. 22 in the rankings, took down the No. 12 doubles team of Luis Alvarez and Bruno Nhavene on court one. Jin earned a ranked win over Johan Rodriguez on court four, and Ramos went undefeated in singles (2-0) in the doubleheader.
Vanderbilt Match Information
Vanderbilt ranks at No. 19 by the ITA heading into the weekend, with two players ranked in singles and one doubles pairing ranked. The two singles players that are ranked for the Commodores are Pablo Martinez Gomez at No. 79 and Hoyoung Roh at No. 88. In doubles, Nathan Cox and Hoyoung Roh are ranked at No. 20. Vanderbilt comes in with a 15-9 record for the season and are 4-7 in the SEC.
LSU Lowdown
The LSU Tigers are ranked at No. 7 in the country by the ITA with a record of 21-5 for the season and a 7-4 conference record. The team holds three players ranked in singles, with Erik Arutiunian at No. 27, Olaf Pieczkowski at No. 42 and Andrej Loncarevic at No. 104. Sasa Markovic and Andrej Loncarevic are the only doubles pairing ranked for the Tigers at No. 17.
Presenting Presbyterian
Presbyterian College will come to Florida with a 9-5 record for their season. The team consists of three freshmen, three sophomores, one junior and a single senior.
