GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Gators fall season ended last week in the NCAA Championships, but the accolades are still streaming in as four different members of the squad concluded the season with national rankings to their credit.
Singles
Sophomore Gabia Paskauskas entered the season ranked No. 55 in the nation, but finished the year knocking on the door of the top 10. Her 9-3 record and a Round of 64 victory at the NCAA Singles Championships moved her up 34 spots to No. 11. Paskauskas' run to the NCAAs included a 5-7, 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win over the No. 16 ranked player in the nation at the ITA Sectional Championships.
Neither Xinyi Nong nor Nikola Daubnerova were ranked entering their fall 2025 campaigns. Nong posted a 9-4 record as a senior, which included wins over a pair of SEC opponents at Sectionals. Daubnerova finished her sophomore campaign with a 7-3 mark, which also included a victory over SEC competition at Sectionals. Those performances led to them bring ranked Nos. 86 and 105 in the nation respectively at season's end.
Velery Gynina went 9-6 in the fall, and upended the 19th ranked player in the nation at Sectionals to finish her junior season ranked No. 118 in the country.
Doubles
Daubnerova and Nong also climbed the national rankings as a doubles tandem, going 9-3 in the fall, and improving from No. 45 to No. 17. Three of their wins came in the Sectionals, which sent the duo to the NCAA Championships, where they fell to the No. 9 team in the country.
