GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida swimming and diving programs begin their 2025-26 campaign on Friday, Sept. 26, traveling to Bloomington, Indiana, to face the Hoosiers in a dual meet at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center.

- Anthony Nesty enters his eighth season as the men's head coach and fifth season leading the women's program.
- Associate Head Coach Kristin Walker joined the Gators coaching staff this past August, arriving to Gainesville from the University of Wyoming. Additionally, Jack Szaranek was promoted to Associate Head Coach and Whitney Hite has been named the program's Senior Associate Head Coach.
- This season, the Gators will compete in 13 meets, including home dual meets against Virginia (Oct. 10), Georgia (Oct. 31) and LSU (Jan. 9). Florida aims to reclaim the SEC titles at the SEC Championships, scheduled for February 17-21 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The NCAA Championships will follow in March in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Florida enters the 2025-26 season coming off their fourth-place finish at last year's NCAA championships, where the men brought home four national titles (three individuals, one relay) and earned 18 All-American honors. The men also posted 19 top-16 finishes and recorded 12 top-10 program times.
- The men's roster includes 24 athletes (20 swimmers & 4 divers) with 17 returners. Notable returners include:
- Senior Josh Liendo: Earned six First-Team All-American Honors and won three National Titles at the 2025 NCAA Championships, contributing 161 points to Florida's total of 315. Medaled in all seven entered events (4 gold, 3 silver) at the 2025 SEC Championships. Set 15 records across NCAA, SEC, SEC Meet, Florida program, and Georgia pool levels.
- Senior Aleksas Savickas: At the 2025 NCAA Championships, he earned two All-American honors and brought home a gold and a bronze medal at the 2025 SEC Championships. He was crowned the 200 breast champion for the second time in three years, breaking his own program, SEC, and SEC Meet record with his 1:50.02 performance, while also posting a season-best 51.15 in the 100 breaststroke for third.
- Senior Gio Linscheer: At the 2025 NCAA Championships, he totaled three All-American honors. He set a personal-best 14:33.10 in the 1650y free, resetting Florida's second-fastest program time to earn 9th overall. He contributed 61 individual points to Florida's total at the 2025 SEC Championships.
- Junior Jonny Marshall: Earned three All-American honors and was a member of Florida's winning 400 medley relay team, which captured the program's third national title in the event and set a new NCAA Meet record (2:56.10). Finished national runner-up in the 100 back with a time of 43.22 and placed 5th nationally in the 200 back (1:27.00) Totaled four medals (three gold and one silver) at the 2025 SEC Championships, where he successfully defended his 200 back SEC title (1:35.85) and won his second consecutive SEC title in the 100 back (43.73).
- Junior Scotty Buff: Earned three All-American honors at the 2025 NCAA Championships, where he placed fifth in the 100-yard fly A Final with a career-best 43.95. At the SEC Championships, Buff contributed 74 individual points and collected four medals (three silver and one bronze). He reached the A Final in all three of his individual events, finishing sixth in the 50 free (18.73), seventh in the 100 back (45.37) and claiming bronze in the 100 fly with a 44.28.
- Junior Conor Gesing: At the 2025 NCAA Championships, the diver earned his first All-American honor after placing 14th on the 1-meter (340.30). During the SEC Championships, Gesing earned two medals: gold in the men's 1-meter with a program-best 412.75 and silver in the 3-meter with a season-best 417.25.
- Sophomore Alexander Painter: Was named the 2025 SEC Freshman Male Swimmer of the Year following his successful rookie season. At the NCAA Championships, he earned six All-American honors, including four First-Team relay honors and two individual Second-Team honors. He was part of the NCAA Championships record-setting 400-yard medley relay team, which captured the program's third national title, while individually winning the 50-yard free Consolation Final with a personal-best 18.50. At the SEC Championships, Painter totaled four medals (two gold, two silver) and scored 71 individual points. He set multiple NCAA, U.S. Open, SEC, SEC Meet, Gabrielsen Natatorium and program records and recorded seven program top-10 times.
- Sophomore Jesus Gonzalez: Joining the Gators in January of 2025, he was the only Gator to compete in all three diving events at last year's NCAA Championships. At the 2025 SEC Championships, he broke the program's platform record with his 452.35 score to place third, advanced to the men's 1-meter A Final finishing sixth with 353.15, and placed 33rd on the 3-meter with a score of 272.35.
- The Florida Gators welcome a talented group of newcomers to the swimming and diving program, bringing a blend of international experience at the Olympic and World Championship levels, along with impressive sprint and distance versatility. Some key additions include: Nil Cadevall, Koen DeGroot, Charlie Hutchison, Ahmed Jaouadi, Marvin Johnson, and Jordan Willis, along with freshman diver Jesus Mora.
- The women are coming off a sixth-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Championships, where 11 Gators earned 17 All-American honors in the four days of competition.
- Of the 28 roster spots, 18 are returners. Notable returners include:
- Senior Zoe Dixon: Returning for her senior season, Dixon is a three-time All-American, 2024-25 CSCAA Second-Team Scholar All-American, Three-time SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll member, 2024 All-SEC Second Team, 2023 SEC Female Freshman Swimmer of the Year, 2023 All-SEC Freshman Team and 2022-23 First-Year SEC Honor Roll member.
- Senior Casey Greenberg: Greenberg qualified for her first NCAA Championships, where she finished 36th overall on platform (229.85). At the 2025 SEC Championships, Greenberg contributed 16 points to Florida's second-place team while competing in all three diving events. She advanced to the platform B Final, placing third and 11th overall with a score of 256.60.
- Junior Lainy Kruger: Set four of Florida Women's All-Time Top-10 Times. At the 2025 NCAA Championships, she earned three All-American honors, one being the 800 free relays where she a 1:43.67 split, helping the team climb from seventh to third place (6:53.41). At the 2025 SEC Championships, she contributed 114 points and won a bronze medal swimming the third leg of the 400 free relays' 3:11.07 finish.
- Junior Camyla Monroy: Competed in the 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform events at the 2025 NCAA Championships, narrowly missing the top-16 final on platform with a 17th-place finish and a score of 267.80. At the 2025 SEC Championships, Monroy scored 80 individual points after making three A Final appearance. She was crowned SEC Champion on the 1-meter springboard, winning gold with a career-best score of 350.45.
- Sophomore Anita Bottazzo: emerged as a key contributor for the Gators during the 2024–25 season, earning three All-American honors at the 2025 NCAA Championships. She captured her first individual All-American title by winning the 100 breast Consolation Final (57.84. At the SEC Championships, Bottazzo scored 165 points and collected one gold and two bronze medals.
- Sophomore Julie Brousseau: Recorded five program top-10 times across multiple events in her freshman season. At the NCAA Championships, she competed in four events and earned four All-American honors. At the SEC Championships, she individually scored 122 points and captured two bronze medals in the 500 free (4:34.59) and was the lead off for the 800 free relay's third-place finish (1:44.18)
- Redshirt Sophomore Michaela Mattes: made notable strides during the 2024–25 season, setting two program top-10 times in the 500 freestyle and 1650 freestyle. At the NCAA Championships, she earned her first All-American honor by placing 11th in the 1650 free with a career-best 15:54.98. At the SEC Championships, Mattes contributed 45 points for the second-place Gators, finishing fifth in the 1650 free (16:02.53) and winning the 400 IM B Final with a career-best 4:08.01 to place ninth overall.
- Florida also returns a strong and experienced senior and junior classes, featuring Anna Moore, Camille DeBoer, JoJo Ramey, Grace Rainey, Carly Meeting, Molly Mayne and Catie Choate. The Gators welcome talented newcomers such as Beatriz Bezerra, Lilla Bognar, Zuri Ferguson, Aspen Gersper, Grace Rabb and Sylvia Statkevicius, along with three divers: Maria Garcia, Alexa Fung and Ava Brinkman.
