
Gators Men’s Tennis Jumps to No. 18

The previously unranked Gators Men’s Tennis team jumped to No. 18 after a successful, ITA Kickoff Weekend.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Over the weekend, the Gators Men's Tennis program took down some top ranked opponents in No. 23 Kentucky and No. 13 Columbia in the ITA Kickoff Weekend to qualify for the ITA National Indoor Championships in February.
The team went 4-2 against both Kentucky and Columbia, showing their fight against some tough opponents. For their success, the Gators, who were previously unranked, made their way into the top-20 placing at No. 18.
The Gators look to continue their success and climb the rankings after facing in-state rivals Florida State at home on Friday, Jan. 30 at 5 p.m. EST and No. 9 UCF in Orlando on Sunday, Feb. 1.
