THEY SAID:
"The Gators did a fantastic job tonight. We were extremely united, supporting each other, doing it for something bigger than ourselves, and I couldn't be more proud of this team and how they do it. In addition to that, lots of amazing performances tonight. They had so much fun. This team allowed the win to come to them, just being themselves. So really proud of them for that." – Florida Head Coach Jenny Rowland
On her performance tonight that earned three collegiate bests:
"I came to the meet calm. I was nervous, but I was calm about it, just letting the gymnastics come to me. I didn't need to do anything extra, just do my normal. We had a good week, and I felt confident in my abilities, and I always like to feel prepared. And I asked myself, 'Did you prepare well?' If the answer is yes, then I'm ready to go. So I felt ready coming into the meet and just knowing that my teammates were supporting me. We were all had a positive mindset. The energy was great. So I just feel like having that energy out there allowed me to just have a great night." – sophomore Skye Blakely
Confidence heading into this meet:
"I will say that this was the best I felt overall going into this meet and throughout the meet. I think it was just leaning on my teammates so much. That was one of my biggest things that I worked on each week, and it worked this week. Want to work on just continuing to do that every day because this team is so special. It's amazing seeing them go up and hit the routines, and then just being able to be a part of that is really amazing." – junior Kayla DiCello

"It felt fabulous. It honestly felt like the right time to come back and do all-around and do floor. My body felt a lot better. I felt a lot healthier, and also felt a lot more confident on floor. Usually, I don't feel like that, but I think Adrian [Burde – UF Associate Coach who coaches floor tumbling] did a good job of knowing his timing. It felt good, and I feel more confident than ever, and I only get better from competing." – senior Selena Harris-Miranda
