Theresa Bragg Earns Second Big 12 Defender of the Week Honor This Season

This is Bragg’s second Big 12 Defender of the Week honor this season
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Senior Theresa Bragg has been named Big 12 Defender of the Week following her performance in the Gators' 14-8 win over Arizona State, the conference announced Wednesday night.
Against Arizona State, Bragg lead the team with three caused turnovers and two ground balls. Bragg was also able to shut down ASU's top offensive threat Jordyn Behar, holding her to just two points, well below her 5.27 points per game average. Bragg's three caused turnovers were a game high and her two ground balls co-led the team alongside three other Gators.
So far this season, Bragg has started all ten games for the Gators and has tallied 10 caused turnover, which leads the team, and nine ground balls.
This is UF's 10th Big 12 weekly honor this season, with six players earning those honors, and the sixth straight week the Gators have had a player earn a Big 12 player of the week honor.
The No.7/5 Gators are back in action this Saturday at 12 p.m. as they welcome No. 16/15 Colorado to Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
