Softball To Host Auburn; Senior Day Set For Saturday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 4/7 Florida softball team will host Auburn in its final Southeastern Conference home series of the regular season at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium. The first game is set for Friday, April 17, at 6 p.m. on the SEC Network+.
The Gators (41-5, 14-4 SEC) will hold their Senior Day recognition prior to the game against the Tigers (23-19, 2-13 SEC) on Saturday, April 18, at 3 p.m.
Florida has four graduating seniors: Jocelyn Erickson, Kenleigh Cahalan, Kendall Grover and Giulia Desiderio.
The series finale is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, at 1 p.m.
All three games will be streamed on SEC Network+ with Aleshia Ocasio and Ryan Urquhart calling the action.
Fans can also listen to all three games on either FloridaGators.com/Gators+ (Friday/Saturday) or 98.1 FM / 850 AM WRUF (Sunday) where Sky Lebron, Nevada Cullen and Nate Bilgoray will have the radio call.
The Gators enter the weekend looking to secure their fourth SEC home series of the season.

- The Gators have won 16 straight series against Auburn. The last time the Tigers took a series over Florida was at Auburn in 2005

- After tossing her first career no-hitter in SEC play in the series opener at South Carolina on April 10, Keagan Rothrock earned NFCA, SEC and Softball America Pitcher of the Week honors on Tuesday

- With 212 RBIs in her Florida career, fifth-most in program history, Erickson is just five RBIs of moving into a tie with Megan Bush (2008-11) for fourth-most in program history (217)
- Rothrock, who is 21-4 on the season and 10-3 in SEC play, currently has 70 career wins, which ranks sixth-most in program history
- She needs just one more win in the circle to move into a tie with Aleshia Ocasio (71), who is calling this weekend's games on SEC Network+, for fifth-most wins as a Gator
- In SEC play, the Gators lead the conference in fielding percentage (.996), rank third in team ERA (3.76) and fifth in batting average (.296).
