Koury and Radebaugh Capture Big 12 Player of the Week Honors

This is Gabbi Koury’s fourth honor this year and Susan Radebaugh’s first of her career.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Junior midfielder Gabbi Koury and Sophomore goalkeeper Susan Radebaugh each were named Big 12 Player of the Week honors for their respective positions after their performances in the 9-7 win over Colorado, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
This is seventh straight week that at least one Florida player has earned a Big 12 player of the week honor, and the fourth week of those seven weeks that multiple players have been named.
Gabbi Koury
This is Koury's fourth Big 12 midfielder of the week honor, and her fifth conference player of the week award in her career. Against Colorado, Koury registered four points (2 G/2 A), with her two assists coming on two of Florida's last three goals, one of which was the game winning goal from Kaitlyn Davies. Koury also played a pivotal role on the draw unit, getting four draw controls, which co-led all players with teammate Jenny Woodings, helping the Gators win the draw battle 11-7.
Koury's four midfielder of the week nominees the first time a Gator has been named a conference player of the week four times in a season since Sarah Reznick earned the American Conference goalkeeper of the week honor four times in 2023
Susan Radebaugh
This is Radebaugh's first player of the week honor of the season and of her career. The Lutherville-Timonium, Md. native delivered a standout performance against Colorado, posting a career high 12 saves and a save percentage of .632, her second highest of the season. In cage, she helped limit Colorado's leading goals scorers Maddie Shoup and Teagan Ryan scoreless on her way to her second win of the saves. Radebaugh made four crucial saves in the fourth quarter, two of which came against Shoup, and one on a free position from Ryan, to help the Gators grab a crucial conference win in a close game.
This is the Gators first Big 12 goalkeeper of the week honor this season.
After today's non-conference game against South Florida, the Gators return to Big 12 play as they head out west to play San Diego State on Saturday, April 11 at 1 p.m.
