Glaser, Propeck Headline All-SEC Honors for Gators

Florida collected the most conference honors in Emily Glaser (Coach of the Year), Megan Propeck (Newcomer of the Year & First-Team), Paula Francisco (First Team), Siuue Wu (Second Team) and Katelyn Huber (Freshman Team).
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The No. 3 Florida women's golf team led the conference with the most All-SEC honors, headlined by head coach Emily Glaser for Coach of the Year and Megan Propeck Newcomer of the Year, the league office announced Friday.
Additionally, Paula Francisco and Propeck were named to the First Team, Siuue Wu on the Second Team and Katelyn Huber a member of the Freshman Team. The six conference accolades are Florida's most since 2017. In the last three years, UF has had four members on the first-year team, the most by any school.
The Gators were recently selected as the No. 1 seed for the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. The three-day, 54-hole event begins on Monday, May 11 at 8 a.m. at Seminole Legacy Golf Club. After three rounds, the top-5 teams and low individual (not on an advancing team) qualify for the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif. from May 22-27.
Glaser earns her second SEC Coach of the Year recognition (2017). Only her and UF Hall of Famer Mimi Ryan are a two-time selection in program history. In her 14th season, she has guided the program to back-to-back five win seasons. The five team titles in consecutive years have only happened three times at UF, and twice by Glaser. Outside of UF's wins, they finished runner-up, third, fourth and sixth. New records were set this season from the team and individual with the most recent being the lowest team score (831) at the SEC Championship to win the stroke play portion. At the Gators Invitational, Florida set a new best in low team round (271) and 54-hole (820) scores by par. Individually, Francisco won the 2026 SEC Individual Championship. one of her two wins this season, with her first set the program record for 54-hole by score (200) at the home tournament.
Transferring in for her final season, Propeck captured her first collegiate win in the fall at the OU Intercollegiate. In her SEC Championship debut she finished T8 (-3) and went 2-0 in match play. Playing all 10 events, Propeck has finished top-25 nine times and top-10 six, which are team-highs. She also has a stroke average of 71.3 and has finished under par in seven tournaments. Heading into regionals, Propeck has finishes of 6-4-T8.
The 2026 SEC Individual Champion, Francisco has had a dominate junior season. She became the eighth Gator to win the SEC Championship and first since Maria Torres in 2016. This is the 10th time a UF golfer has been crowned the conference champion, which leads the SEC. The win was the second of Francisco's collegiate career and season. She had 54-hole tournament score of 202 (-8), which is the third lowest all-time by score in SEC Championship history. It is also the lowest by par from a Gator since Maria Torres won the conference title in 2016 and finished 9-under.
Ranked the No. 8 player in the nation, she tied the 54-hole tournament record (202) in the spring opener. Then broke the 10-year program record with a final score of 200 (-10) to capture her first collegiate win at the Gators Invitational. In round two, Francisco tied for the second-lowest round in program history with a 65 (-5). The Madrid, Spain native has a team-low stroke average of 70.3 and 16 of her 29 rounds have been under par with nine straight currently.
In eight tournaments, Wu has placed top-25 seven times during his sophomore season. She owns a stroke average of 71.4 and also tied for the second-lowest round (65) in program history in the opening round of the Gators Invitational where she tied for 2nd - a career best finish. Playing in her first conference tournament, Wu finished T25 and won her quarterfinals match 4&3. She recently qualified for the 81st U.S. Open, winning a three-for-one playoff.
A Gainesville native, Huber, has played in all 10 tournaments (nine times in the lineup) in her freshman season. She has eight top-25s and five top-10s with a stroke average of 72.2. Huber placed T25 in stroke play and went 2-0 (5&3 & 2&1) with the match-clinching point in the quarterfinals of the SEC Championship. In the season opener, she had a bogey-free 67 (-3) in her first collegiate round en route to a team-best solo 4th at 8-under.
