Gator trio earns All-America honors

Paula Francisco (second team), Megan Propeck (honorable mention) and Siuue Wu (honorable mention) all were recognized.
FRISCO, Texas – Florida women's golf trio of Paula Francisco (second team), Megan Propeck (honorable mention) and Siuue Wu (honorable mention) earned WGCA All-America honors on Tuesday. The Gators are one of six schools – one of two in the SEC (Texas) – to have three or more selected.
The three Gator choices are tied for the program's second most in a single season (1985 1987, 2008, 2017) as the record is four in 1986 when UF won back-to-back National Championships.
Francisco caps off a breakout junior campaign with here first All-American honor adding to a resume of the SEC Individual Champion, ANNIKA Award Finalist, All-SEC First Team and Arnold Palmer Cup selection. The Madrid, Spain native also qualified for the 81st U.S. Open, which takes place this weekend at Riviera Country Club. Her team-low season stroke average of 71.0 is the second-best all-time in program history.
She won two collegiate tournaments this season with her first career in a record setting outing at the Gators Invitational, setting the UF 54-hole score record of 200 (-10). Francisco became the eighth Gator to win the conference title and first since Maria Torres in 2016. It was the 10th time a
UF golfer has been crowned the conference champion, which leads the SEC. The win was the second of Francisco's collegiate career and season. She had 54-hole tournament score of 202 (-8), which is the third lowest all-time by score in SEC Championship history. It is also was the lowest by par from a Gator since Maria Torres won the conference title in 2016 and finished 9-under.
In her lone season as a Gator, Propeck left her mark. She was named the SEC Newcomer of the Year and earned All-SEC First honors en route to winning her first collegiate tournament at the OU Intercollegiate. The now two-time All-American, she finished 9th in the inaugural class of the LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) to earn Epson Tour membership to the four remainder of the 2026 and all of 2027 season.
An Arnold Palmer Cup selection, Propeck adds to a jump start in her professional career as she was one of five selected for the ANNIKA Development Program, designed to support recent college graduates as they transition into professional golf. The native of Leawood, Kan., was in the lineup for every round (36) and tournament (12) this season, leading the team in top-25 (10), top-10 (7) finishes and under par tournaments (7). Her stroke average of 71.6, is the third-lowest in UF history.
Wu also collects her first All-America nod, adding to her NCAA All-Tournament Team and All-SEC Second Team selections. The sophomore became the second Gator to qualify for the U.S. Women's Open after winning a three-for-one playoff against the 2026 NCAA National Individual Champion and ANNIKA Award winner Farah O'Keefe (Texas).
She ended the season finishing T14 at 286 (-2) to tie the program's lowest by score and second-lowest by par at the National Championship. Her T14 performance is the best since Sandra Gal in a tie for 4th in 2006. The last UF golfer to shoot 286 was Elcin Ulu in 2014 & the 2-under by Karen Davies in 1987. The all-time mark by par is 3-under from Cheryl Morley and Davies in 1988.
