
India Alix, Almond Small Named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – India Alix and Almond Small have been named to the 2026 Southeastern Conference Track & Field/Cross Country Community Service Team, the SEC announced Thursday afternoon.
India Alix, Florida
Junior India Alix of Houston, Texas, accumulated 47 community service hours during the 2025-26 academic year. Alix dedicated much of her time working with youth in a variety of capacities in her hometown of Houston through organizations such as Gators Experience and the Second Wind for Life Initiative (SWFLI).
Almond Small, Florida
Senior sprinter runner Almond Small earned a total of 39 community service hours during the 2025-26 academic year. The Ontario, Canada, native spent the majority of his time visiting alternative schools and juvenile centers, working with organizations such as the Sidney Lanier School and the Regional Juvenile Detention Center, where he worked to positively influence the children and young people he encountered.
The conference names a Community Service Team for each of its 22 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts.
