
Florida to host Miami Dec. 2 in 2026 SEC-ACC Women’s Basketball Challenge

GAINESVILLE, Fla — Earlier today, ESPN announced the matchups for the 2026 SEC-ACC Women's Basketball Challenge, and the new-look Florida Gators are set to host the Miami Hurricanes on Wednesday, December 2.
All games in both the men's and women's challenge will air across ESPN networks, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network, and will stream live on the ESPN App via an applicable subscription. Coverage details, including network designations and game times, will be announced at a later date.
This is the fourth season of the SEC-ACC Women's Basketball Challenge, and the SEC is 30-16 against the ACC during that time, including 23-9 over the previous two years. The Gators are 2-1 in their three previous challenge matchups having defeated Georgia Tech 68-58 on Nov. 29, 2023 and Clemson 77-64 on Dec. 5, 2024, before falling to Virginia Tech 68-64 on Dec. 3, 2025. All three of Florida's prior challenge games were on the road.
Season ticket deposits are now being accepted for the 2026-27 Florida Women's Basketball Season. Returning season ticket holders from the 2025-26 season need not place a deposit. Your seats are being held for you, and renewal information will be sent to you.
