The Gators got a late boost in the backcourt, when they reeled in Tishman late in the summer after an impressive showing at the European Under-18 Championships… A combo guard with point guard feel and vision and a soft shooter’s touch… PRIOR TO UF: Played for the Israeli U18 squad at the European Under-18 Championships, leading his country in scoring at 18.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists for the tournament… Spent the bulk of his recent playing days suiting up for Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv… Tishman has a wealth of international experience for his native Israel, having played for his country at the Nike International Junior Tournament in Madrid in the spring of 2008… .In December of 2008 he was selected as the MVP of the Moscow Junior Tournament for Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv… PERSONAL: Born on May 12, 1991, same day as fellow teammate Kenny Boynton.
