AS A FRESHMAN (1989) - Opened the 1989 season by claiming the Georgia College and Towson State triangular uneven bars title with a then career-best mark of 9.75…second in the Southeast Region uneven bars competition with a career-best mark of 9.80…earned a career-best mark of 9.85 to take second in the Shands Invitational floor exercise competition…scored a career-best 9.65 for the beam at the Burger King Challenge, a dual meet with 1988 NCAA Champion Alabama.
BEFORE FLORIDA – Member of 1984 Canadian Olympic Team…eight-year member of Canadian National Team…1986 all-around, floor exercise and uneven bars Canadian national champion…took fifth in vault at 1987 World University Games…placed fourth in all-around at 1988 National Championship…vault champion at 1986 Commonwealth Championships…1981 Junior National all-around champion…member of Seneca Sport College club team…coached by Brian McVey and Carol Orchard.
