AS A JUNIOR (1993) - Competed in seven balance beam contests – winning the Minnesota dual and Sun Bank Senior Night and taking second at Arizona State…joined the Gators’ Sun Bank Senior Night uneven bars lineup as a substitute for the injured Colleen Johnson and posted a season-best mark of 9.70…member of the 1993 Academic All-Southeastern Conference Honor Roll for the second consecutive year. AS A SOPHOMORE (1992) – Posted Gators’ season-best balance beam score of 9.90 to take top honors at the Michigan dual meet…ranked 18th in the season’s final national balance beam rankings with a regional qualifying score of 9.77…finished third of better in six of 10 balance beam competitions, taking top honors twice…posted career-best floor exercise score of 9.75 at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships…earned a post in the Gators’ uneven bars lineup as a sophomore, earning a runner-up finish at the Kentucky triangular with a collegiate-best score of 9.75…1997 selection to the Academic All-Southeastern Conference Honor Roll. AS A FRESHMAN (1991) – Competed primarily in the balance beam and floor exercise lineups for the Gators…earned a season-best balance beam score of 9.85 twice as a freshman…took top honors in the Alabama dual meet beam competition with a 9.85…posted a season-best mark of 9.55 in the Hobies Invitational floor competition…placed among the top three beam performers four times…matched season-best floor exercise score (9.55) at the SEC Championships. PRIOR TO FLORIDA – Sixth in all-around at 1986 Canadian National Championships…took fifth in all-around and second on balance beam at 1985 Elite Canada…claimed silver on bars and bronze on beam at 1986 Commonwealth Games…silver medallist on the beam plus eight in both the bars and all-around at 1986 Golden Sands Meet in Bulgaria…member of Sports Senca club team and coached by Carol Orchard and Brian McVey.
