
Final Round of Stanford Intercollegiate Cancelled, Florida Finishes Tied for Fourth

The Orange and Blue fought their way up four spots during the second round, recording the third-lowest round score on Saturday, a 293.
Junior Taylor Tomlinson led the Gators, finishing the tournament tied for eighth place at +2 (144). Freshman Marta Perez also had a solid tournament, finishing tied for 18th at +5 (147).
UCLA took home the team title at +4 (572), and UCLA's Bronte Law won the individual title at -7 (135) on the par-71, 6,130-yard Stanford Golf Course.
This tournament concluded the Gators' fall season. Florida finished in the top-five in all four fall tournaments, taking home the team title at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship.

Thoughts on the tournament:
"Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate today. The team was ready to play and was off to a great start. We took a lot of positives from this trip and I know it was a great motivator for our team."
Thoughts on the fall season:
"Overall, a really solid fall with some great play but also room for improvement. I think we saw the potential that this team has, and we're all very excited and positive about the future."
