Hear from Head Coach Ryan Theis:
"We had an awesome student turnout tonight, it was great. We were by the student section in the second set and after starting so poorly, any time we got a point you heard them get into it. I think that helped our team moving forward… Recovery day tomorrow with some scouting in there. Just touching some volleyballs and getting a feel for what Vanderbilt is like."
Middle blocker Jaela Auguste on what propelled the team's energy tonight…
"We have had our ups and our downs, and I feel like after our downs, we motivate each other to be our best when we're out there on the court…. When everything is tense, we just have to do our best to relax, especially in times when things don't go our way. Just focusing on staying clean and playing like we know how to play."
