GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida volleyball wraps up its Southeastern Conference regular-season slate this week, hosting No. 6 Texas A&M on Wednesday before traveling to Oxford, Mississippi to face Ole Miss on Friday afternoon.
With the SEC Allstate Volleyball Tournament approaching, the Gators hold an 8-5 record and tie with Tennessee, but since Florida wins the head-to-head competition, they currently secure the top-four seed and earns both first-and-second-round byes. Teams that finish No. 5 through No. 8 will receive a first-round bye.

- In SEC play, the Gators rank fifth in kills per set (13.93) and in assists per set (12.74), with Alexis Stucky standing third individually in league play at 10.57 assists per set. Florida sits sixth in hitting percentage (.243), while Jaela Auguste's .349 hitting clip sits ninth and Alec Rothe's .346 is tenth in SEC play.
- Defensively, the Gators lead the league play in digs per set (14.69) and is fourth in opponent hitting percentage (.219). Freshman libero Lily Hayes appears in the conference standings as well, ranking fifth individually with 3.87 digs per set.
- Outside hitter Jordyn Byrd was among 17 players added to the AVCA National Player of the Year Watchlist, presented by Nike Volleyball, joining the 30 nominees originally announced in August. The Sarasota native currently leads the Gators in kills and points, while adding 45 blocks, having played only 22 matches in her collegiate career.
- Florida's middle blockers, Auguste and Rothe, have been dominant at the net throughout their sophomore campaigns, combining for 177 of Florida's 206 total blocks this season, with Auguste posting 91 and Rothe adding 86.
- Auguste also leads the Gators with a .352 hitting percentage and 26 aces, while ranking second overall in points (310.0) for the year.
- In his third-year as Aggies Head Coach, Jamie Morrison is piecing together his best season since arriving in College Station, arriving to Gainesville with a 20-3 overall record and a 12-1 mark in SEC play.
- Senior outside hitter Logan Lednicky was named an AVCA Player of the Year Semifinalist, as she leads Texas A&M in kills (306) while averaging 3.92 kills per set with an .300 hitting clip.
- Senior Ifenna Cos-Okpalla ranks fourth in the nation with 1.65 blocks per set and eighth overall with 135 total blocks, including a league-leading 82 in conference play. She also tops the SEC in aces, ranks fifth in conference hitting percentage at .380, and sits 12th nationally with a .426 clip.
- Senior Maddie Waak leads the nation and the SEC in assists per set at 11.46., while her total assists (940) is good for 28th nationally.
- As a team, Texas A&M ranks among the nation's best in five statistical categories: 4th in assists per set (13.55), 7th in kills per set (14.39), 9th in win-loss percentage (.870), 10th in hitting percentage (.289) and 27th in opponent hitting percentage (.171).
- During conference play, the Aggies rank 3rd in hitting percentage (.288), 3rd in assists per set (13.28) and 4th in kills per set (14.17). Texas A&M is averaging a .172 opponent hitting percentage, which stands 2nd in the league. They rank 6th in blocks (2.48) and 12th in digs (13.33), while averaging 1.39 aces per set to rank 4th.
- Ole Miss was picked to finish 10th in the SEC Preseason Coaches' Poll and currently holds a 4-9 record in league play.
- Junior outside hitter Gabi Placide leads the Rebels' offense, ranking 11th nationally in attacks per set (12.18) and 13th in kills per set (4.69). She averages 5.40 points per set to stand ninth in the nation and ranks 12th in total points (491.5). In SEC play, Placide leads the league in points per set (5.36) and ranks fifth in kills per set (4.66), while also sitting fifth in aces per set (0.34). For her efforts, she was named to the AVCA Player of the Year Watch List.
- Cammy Niesen, the program's all-time digs leader entered the top-10 in SEC history at LSU and continue her climb up the leaderboard. The senior sits third in league play with 4.20 digs per set.
- Keirstyn Carlton continues an impressive freshman campaign, ranking sixth in the SEC in hitting percentage (.374).
- Setter Mokihana Tufono sits 21st nationally in assists per set (10.39) and 23rd in total assists (954), while ranking fifth in the SEC with 10.2 assists per set.
- As a team, the Rebels rank among the nation's top 10 in four categories: sixth in service aces (1.25), seventh in assists per set (12.08), eighth in kills per set (12.88) and eighth in digs per set (13.90).
