Daubnerova, Nong, Paskauskas Head To Orlando For NCAA Championships This Week

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Nikola Daubnerova, Xinyi Nong, and Gabia Paskauskas make their way to the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Singles & Double Championships in Orlando, this week. Nong and Paskauskas will compete in the singles championship, while Nong and Daubnerova will team up for the doubles championship. The event runs from Nov. 18-23 at the USTA National Campus.
In the singles bracket, Nong takes on Clemson's Ria Bhakta in the Round of 64 beginning at 12:30 p.m. EST, Tuesday, Nov. 18, while Paskauskas battles Stanford's Alyssa Ahn at 4 p.m.
On the doubles side, Nong and Daubnerova square off against Virginia's Melodie Collard and Vivian Yang in the Round of 32, Wednesday, Nov. 19.
All matches will be best-of-three sets, and no-ad scoring and a seven-point tiebreaker (first to seven points, must win by two points) at six-games-all will be used for all matches. In doubles, a 10-point match tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a third set.

Nong toppled Tennessee's Vanesa Suarez 6-2, 1-6, 6-4; and Georgia's Sofia Rojas, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 in her pair of sectional singles matches.
Nong and Daubnerova took care of Georgia's Emily Deming and Hayden Mulbery, 6-7 (3-7), 6-1; Auburn's Ava Esposito and DJ Bennett, 3-6, 7-6 (7-1); and Vanderbilt's Bridget Stammel and Valeria Ray, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4. Stammel and Ray are ranked 37th in the nation, while Bennett and Esposito are part of the third and 28th ranked doubles teams respectively, albeit alongside different teammates.
