SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 5 Florida volleyball team opens the 2025 SEC Volleyball Tournament Presented by Allstate on Saturday at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Ga.
The Gators received a first-round bye and will face the winner of Match 2, featuring No. 12 Alabama vs. No. 13 South Carolina. Florida's second-round match is scheduled to begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of Match 5, which starts at 12 p.m. ET and will air on SEC Network+.

- Florida earned its first conference win of the season under new head coach Ryan Theis, defeating Alabama (8-4, 0-2 SEC) in four sets (25-16, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21) on Sunday, Sept. 28.
- The Gators' offense racked up then season-best 68 kills on a .294 hitting percentage, nearly doubling Alabama's total of 39. Alexis Stucky directed the Gators attack with 53 assists and added 12 digs to register her fifth of the season.
- Jordyn Byrd led all players with a career-high 24 kills. Freshman Milica Vidacic followed with a career-best 18 kills and a .485 (18-2-33) hitting clip.
- At the net, the Gators registered nine team blocks to Alabama's eight and held the Crimson Tide to a .136 hitting percentage.
- Florida posted 72 digs with freshman libero Lily Hayes having a team-high 19 to lead the backcourt defense. Senior Emily Canaan contributed a season-best 11, while Hutson was just shy of double digits with nine digs.
- From the service line, five different Gators recorded an ace: Auguste, Canaan, Hutson, Stucky and Vidacic to finish with five total compared to Alabama's nine.

- Florida volleyball concluded its three-match road stretch with a four-set loss (22-25, 23-25, 25-18, 24-26) to South Carolina on Sunday, Nov. 22.
- Offensively, the Gators registered more kills (63-52) and assists (57-48) than the Gamecocks, but tallied a season-high 15 service errors, while South Carolina had only seven service errors.
- Alexis Stucky dished out 45 assists and added 12 dig and five kills to her stat line for her 13th double-double of the season. The setter guided four Gators to double-digit digs, as middle blocker Alec Rothe hitting .476 to finished with 13 kills. Outside hitter Jordyn Byrd also had a match-high 13, while, while Freshman Milica Vidacic followed with 12 and middle blocker Jaela Auguste had 10 kills for her second-consecutive match in double-digits.
- At the net, Florida was out blocked 9.0-11.0, but held the Gamecocks to a .214 hitting clip while hitting .247. Rothe posted a team-high five blocks, having two solo blocks.
- In the backcourt, freshman libero Lily Hayes led the way with a match-high 18 digs and added four assists to the stat sheet. Senior Emily Canaan had a season-best 12, while Hutson (6), Ella Vogel (3), Auguste, (2), Byrd (2), Rothe (2) and Vidacic (2) combined for 17 of Florida's 59 team digs.
- Stucky recorded back-to-back aces in the fourth set and Vogel recorded one in the third.

SEC Postseason Honors
- Jaela Auguste, Jordyn Byrd, Alexis Stucky, Lily Hayes and Milica Vidacic represent Florida in the SEC postseason awards.
- Auguste earned a spot on the All-SEC First Team, marking the fourth SEC postseason honor of her career after collecting three accolades in her rookie campaign. The 6-2 middle blocker posted a team-best .359 hitting percentage during the regular season, having 250 kills (2.63/set).The Spring, Texas native has led the team in blocks 13 times, hitting percentage 10 times, aces eight times, points seven times and kills once. When having at least 10 hitting attempts, she's hit .300 or better 18 times, including a career-best .722 clip (14-5-28) at Georgia on Oct. 31 and has reached double-digit kills in 14 matches. Overall, Auguste has registered a hitting percentage between .300-.399 eight times, .400-.499 four times, .500-.599 four times and twice at .600 or higher.
- Jordyn Byrd and Alexis Stucky received All-SEC Second Team honors. The honor marks Byrd's first SEC postseason award in her debut season. The redshirt sophomore has led Florida's offense 19 times during the regular season as well as 15 times in points and once in blocks. The 6-4 outside hitter currently leads the Gators in kills with 354 (3.77/set) and in points with 381 (4.05/set). The Sarasota, Florida, native has registered double-digit kills in 21 of the Gators' 24 regular-season matches, including four showings with 20 or more.
- Stucky collected the fifth SEC postseason accolade of her career after officially working her way back to full strength following a torn ACL in 2023. The Laramie, Wyoming native has dished out 883 assists during the regular season to average 9.81 per set, while adding 215 digs (2.39/set), 69 kills, 43 blocks and 16 aces. She ranked third in SEC play with 10.53 assists per set and helped guide Florida to a top-five mark in league assists, where the Gators rank fifth at 12.64 per set.
- Freshmen Lily Hayes and Milica Vidacic each secured their first postseason conference honors, being named to the All-Freshman Team.Hayes becomes the first Florida freshman since 2006 to open the season in the libero jersey and earned her first regular-season league honor on Oct. 13 after being named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week. The Tampa, Florida native anchors the Gators' backcourt with a team-high 348 digs (3.66/set), leading Florida in digs 17 times and twice in aces during the regular season. She has finished in double digits defensively in 20 matches, including four with 20 or more.
- Arriving from Serbia, Vidacic has appeared in 22 of Florida's 24 regular-season matches. She has posted double-digit kills five times, highlighted by a career-high 18 against Alabama. She has totaled 128 kills, 10 aces, 30 blocks and 153.5 point while hitting .300 or higher in four matches to lead the Gators in hitting percentage four times. Additionally, she has paced Florida in aces three times, delivering clutch moments from the service line when needed.
