GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida soccer adds senior striker Montelene Dymond [pronounced Mon-ta-lean] to the 2026 roster.
Dymond led Florida International in 2025 with eight goals and 16 points, earning All-Conference USA second-team honors. She shared third with four goals among the 2024 Panthers team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament after winning both the Conference USA regular-season and tournament titles. She is a left-footed player who is comfortable with both feet.
"We are so excited to welcome Montelene to the Gator family!," Florida Head Coach Nick Zimmerman said. "Montelene is such a powerful and pacey player that causes so many problems for defenders. She will fit in perfectly with how we want to play. Go Gators!"
Dymond is the 10th transfer to join the Gators - Tatum Borman, Breahn Fisher, Charlotte Grim, Hannah Jibril, Zoe Main, Ella Petersen, Kelsey Smith, Adia Symmonds and Kyra Taylor. Florida's 2026 roster includes six freshmen as UF signed four in November and added Addy Dean and Courtney Hogan at the turn of the year.
