OKLAHOMA CITY – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced on Wednesday that Taylor Shumaker and Keagan Rothrock each earned All-American honors, adding two more national accolades their resumes after standout seasons.
Shumaker earned NFCA Second Team All-American honors, while Rothrock was named a Third Team All-American by the NFCA.
Both Shumaker and Rothrock are now two-time All-Americans.
Shumaker repeated as an All-American after earning First Team honors as a freshman in 2025, while Rothrock collected Third Team honors for the second time after first receiving the recognition as a freshman in 2024.
Shumaker, a sophomore from Fullerton, Calif., started all 64 games for the Gators in right field or center field and delivered one of the top offensive seasons in program history.
She posted a .445 batting average, the second-highest single-season mark in program history, while leading the team in doubles (19), walks (47), hits (93), on-base percentage (.544), and multi-hit games (31).
Shumaker, a First Team All-SEC selection, closed out her season ranked second in the nation with a program-record 92 runs scored, while also finishing fourth nationally in total hits.
Rothrock, a junior right-handed pitcher from Whiteland, Ind., posted a 30-7 record in the circle, recording her second 30-win season as a Gator.
She led the Florida pitching staff in ERA (2.52), appearances (40), complete games (20), innings pitched (209.1), strikeouts (185), shutouts (6) and saves (5).
In SEC play, Rothrock was tied for most victories in the conference (13), led the SEC in innings pitched (102.1), was second in games started (16) and ranked sixth in strikeouts (74).
She tossed the third no-hitter of her career and first in SEC play at No. 25 South Carolina softball on April 10, earning NFCA, SEC and Softball America Pitcher of the Week honors.
She recorded six complete-game shutouts against Middle Tennessee, Cal, Kentucky, No. 13 Mississippi State, No. 25 South Carolina and. Georgia Tech.
Rothrock finished the season ranked among the nation's leaders, finishing third in the NCAA in victories, fifth in appearances and games started, and ninth in both innings pitched and saves.
As a program, Florida has now produced 32 players who have earned 59 All-America honors. Of those, 31 players and 58 honors have come under Tim Walton.
