Men's Tennis Unveils 2026-27 Schedule

Gainesville, Fla. – Head coach Adam Steinberg and the University of Florida men's tennis program released their 2026-27 schedule Thursday afternoon. After reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row, the Gators are prepped for another year of strong competition.
The fall season features seven tournaments across the country.
Florida will open the season at the ITA Men's All-American championships in Tulsa, Okla. on Sept. 19-27.
The Gators will then head north to compete in the Princeton Invite on Sept. 25 facing the likes of Purdue, Drexel and Buffalo.
Returning back to Florida, the Gators set to take part in the Bedford Cup in Orlando hosted by UCF featuring other Florida schools on Oct. 2.
More ITA competition takes place in Atlanta where Florida will compete at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship hosted by Georgia Tech from Oct. 14-19.
Continuing in ITA play, the Gators are set to host the ITA Sectional Championship from Nov. 5-8 welcoming teams from the Ohio Valley, Southeast and Southern regions squaring off for a spot at NCAA competition later that month.
Some Gators will be hitting the road to Rome, Ga. to compete in the ITA Conference Masters Championships the same weekend at the Rome Tennis Center where one singles player and one doubles pairing will be designated to represent each Division I conference.
For those that qualify, Florida players will wrap up the fall slate in Athens, Ga. for the NCAA Singles and Doubles National Championships which are set to take place from Nov. 17-22. Last year, Henry Jefferson reached the semifinal match with his partner Tanapatt Nirundorn fell to Virginia duo Mans Dahlberg and Dylan Dietrich.
The Gators will kick off the spring season with a hidden dual in Boca Raton, Fla. on Jan. 8-10. Florida will return home to open the season with matches against Mercer and Georgia Southern on Jan. 16.
The team will hit the road to Norman, Okla. for the ITA Kickoff Weekend (Jan. 22-24) before traveling to rival Florida State (Jan. 29). To close out the month, the Gators will host UCF on Jan. 31.
Florida takes on two Texas opponents in Baylor (Feb. 5) and TCU (Feb 7.) to continue non-conference play. The team will then compete in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships hosted in Clemson, S.C. and Columbia S.C.
Conference play will start on the road at Oklahoma (Feb. 25) and Ole Miss (Feb. 27). The Gators will return home to face Tennessee on March 4 and a double header against Auburn and Coastal Carolina on March 6. Florida will continue SEC play against the Georgia at home on Mar. 11.
To close out March the Gators will face off against LSU (Mar. 18) and Texas A&M (Mar. 20) on the road and Arkansas (Mar. 25) and Alabama (Mar. 27) at home.
At the start of April the Gators will face conference foes Vanderbilt (Apr. 1), Mississippi State (Apr. 3) and South Carolina (Apr. 16).
To close out the regular season, Florida will host Kentucky and UNF on April 16 and Texas and NC A&T on April 18 before heading to Nashville, Tenn., for the SEC Tournament.
Post season play will start in May with NCAA First and Second Rounds happening from May 7-9.
