Man of the Month
The Man of the Month award is earned by one football scholar-athlete who demonstrates holistic excellence and commitment to the Gators Football program. Through partnership with Gator Great Danny Wuerffel, Florida Football is able to instill and identify these values within our team:
- guided by mental and moral qualities with a distinctive disposition
- commits to his learning and readily applies knowledge in various contexts
- active presence in communities and utilizes his influence for the benefit of others
- positively maximizes the efforts of others, aligning responsibility and action
Football scholar-athletes who have exhibited these qualities are recommended from Gators Football staff, voted on, and then recognized for their impact on and off the field. This award is a manifestation of maturity, leadership, and the Gator Standard.
