Nolan Crist enters his fifth season with the Florida men’s basketball program and his second in the video coordinator role.

In his first season as video coordinator, Florida claimed its third all-time national championship, its sixth Final Four berth and its fifth SEC Tournament championship.

The championships all came as part of a memorable 12-game win streak to end the season that began March 1. The 12-game run to close the season included nine top-25 wins, a total that eclipsed any full-season total in program history. Eight of the nine ranked wins were vs. teams in the top 12. The Gators totaled 12 top-25 wins, eight top-10 wins and a pair of wins vs. the #1 team in the nation.

The Gators’ +15.2 scoring margin for the season led the SEC and was the third-highest in program history, while UF set program records for points (3,391), 3-point field goals (390) and field goals (1,182).

Previously, Crist served as the head manager and graduate assistant during the 2023-24 season and as the top video assistant. He originally joined the program as a scouting/video assistant for 2021-22 and worked as a student manager and video assistant for 2022-23.

The Gators tallied four top-25 wins in 2023-24 and had their highest-scoring team in program history with 85.7 points per game, ranking in the top 10 nationally in scoring offense, rebounds per game, offensive rebounds per game and offensive rebounding percentage.

Florida returned to the SEC Tournament championship game for the first time in 10 years, and three Gators earned All-SEC honors in Walter Clayton Jr., Zyon Pullin and Tyrese Samuel.

Before rising to video coordinator, Crist gained wide-ranging experience within the program as he led a team of 14 student managers, ensuring smooth operations during practices, games, recruiting visits and travel. He oversaw video coding and data collecting procedures, also assisting with basketball analytics and player development, exploring innovative ways to leverage technology and analytics to improve performance and gain a competitive edge.
