Coach Chelsea Piper enters her first season as Assistant Coach for the Florida swimming and diving program in 2026-27.
Piper served as Associate Head Coach (2024-26) and Recruiting Coordinator (2019-26) for the Vanderbilt University Swimming program for the last seven seasons.
At Vanderbilt:
During her time at Vanderbilt, Piper added 30 student-athletes who have recorded 79 top-10 program performances, set a combined 24 school and freshman records and posted a new program mark in 15 individual events and all five relays.
Piper coached several of the program’s top performers, including Kailia Utley, Faith Knelson, Mercedes Traba, Emily Constable, Aubrey Hull, Ellie Taliaferro, Reagan Mathieson and Sophia Kosturos. Under her guidance in the 2023-24 season, the first Commodore in 30 years qualified for the NCAA Championship, while Vanderbilt produced CSCAA National Invitational competitors, multiple Scholar All-Americans and numerous SEC finalists while posting the program’s strongest SEC championships results since 2007.
Beyond success in the pool during the 2023-24 campaign, Piper helped Vanderbilt achieve record team GPAs and consistently rank among the SEC’s top academic programs, with nearly every student-athlete earning conference academic honors during the season.
