Danny Khalil joined the Florida Lacrosse support staff in the summer of 2022. 
 
Khalil was selected to serve as an Assistant Coach for the Czech Republic Men's National Field Lacrosse Team for the 2023 World Games, taking placing in San Diego. 
 
Prior to the Gators, Khalil served as the Director of Operations for the men's lacrosse team at Colgate University. 
Khalil went to Hamilton after one season as an assistant coach at Morrisville State. During the 2021 season with the Mustangs, Khalil assisted the head coach and defensive coordinator in working with goaltenders, defenders, and faceoff specialists. 

In 2021, Morrisville State, under the guidance of Khalil, produced the United East Conference (formerly NEAC) Defensive Player of the Year in goaltender Dylan LaPlace. LaPlace kept the ball out of the goal at an NCAA Division III record 3.88 goals against average. He also recorded a conference best 72.9 save percentage on his way to first team All-United East Conference honors. 

Khalil also mentored first team All-United East Conference faceoff specialist Soren Bredeson during Morrisville State’s 2021 campaign. 

During the 2021 season, Morrisville State earned the program’s sixth straight conference championship, with a 7-1 overall record and a perfect 4-0 mark in conference play. 

Prior to his time at Morrisville State, Khalil earned his B.S. in sports management at Syracuse University and graduated in the fall of 2019. While at SU, Khalil served as the head women’s lacrosse manager and worked directly with head coach Gary Gait and the coaching staff in handling the day-to-day operations of the program. 

In addition to working with the Orange’s women’s lacrosse program as an undergrad at Syracuse, Khalil assisted with analytics for the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch hockey team, interned for the Cascade Maverik Lacrosse LLC in Liverpool, N.Y., and worked as a camps and clinic counselor for G22 Sports.
