Gator soccer got their first look at their new facility today.
Comments of "Amazing", "Incredible" and "Fantastic" were heard often as the Gator soccer team toured their new team building the morning of April 19.
The team got their first look inside the facility that began construction in late April of 2021. The project renovated the previous building that housed lacrosse and added 13,800 gross square feet to the facility that is now the home for both lacrosse and soccer.
The soccer amenities include:
- Gator soccer locker room
- Gator soccer coaches offices
- Conference space
- Equipment rooms
- Film rooms
- Sports medicine and hydrotherapy areas
- Team lounge
The Gators wait outside their team building prior to Tuesday's tour.
The Gators head through the lobby toward the scocer team area.
The team area connects the coaches offices, team video, locker room, training and equipment rooms.
The project also includes enhancements to locker and training areas for Gator lacrosse, visiting and official team locker rooms, lacrosse equipment and conference rooms. Gator lacrosse team and coaching staff moved into their renovated area earlier this year.
Project Budget: $7.4 Million
