Quintet Of Gators Travel To Baton Rouge For ITA Women's South Sectional Championships

Baton Rouge, La.—The Florida Women's Tennis Team is back in action this week at the ITA South Sectional Championships as Nikola Daubnerova, Valery Gynina, Xinyi Nong, Gabia Paskauskas and Lucie Pawlak make their way to Baton Rouge, La. from Thursday, November 6 through Sunday, November 9.
Split between four different sites around the country, ITA Sectional Championships will send 24 singles and 12 doubles qualifiers to the NCAA Championships later this month. The Baton Rouge site plays host to the Ohio Valley, Southeast and Southern regions. LSU is the host school for the event, and will have live video and live stats (Thur./Fri./Sat./Sun.) throughout the championships.
In the 15-team field, five squads finished the 2024-25 season inside the ITA Top 25 including No. 1 Georgia, No. 8 Auburn, No. 9 Tennessee, No. 11 LSU and No. 17 Vanderbilt.
All five Gators are taking part in the Women's Open Singles draw. The Round of 32 gets underway at 10 am ET, Thursday.

Florida has two teams participating in the 16-team Women's Open Doubles draw—Gynina and Paskauskas, and Nong and Daubnerova. All eight Round of 16 doubles matches get underway at 4 pm, Thursday.
