GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida soccer adds Adia Symmonds, among TopDrawerSoccer's top 10 freshman of 2025 season, to the upcoming season's roster.
The midfielder was a 2025 Southeastern Conference All-Freshman selection in 2025 and was called into two U.S. Under 18/U-19 National Team camps since October, earning her first international cap during October's camp in Portugal.
"Adia is one of the best young players in the country," Florida Head Coach Nick Zimmerman said. "She has represented the US Youth National teams and is someone who also brings a lot of big game experience with her. She is hungry to grow and develop and we can't wait to have her join our group."
"I'm excited to head home and get started in Gainesville, with this new group of girls," Symmonds said. "I thank the coaches for the opportunity and ready to get to work for next season!"
Symmonds is the eighth newcomer to join the Gators for the 2026 season as UF signed four freshmen last month and announced the signing of three MSU transfers earlier today – Tatum Borman, Kyra Taylor and Zoe Main.
