Gators Place 23 on 2025 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida soccer continues to shine in the classroom, placing 23 student-athletes on the 2025 Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced today.
The total sits just one shy of the program's all-time record and ranks second among SEC soccer programs, reinforcing Florida's commitment to academic success for its student-athletes.
Among the Gators recognized are four standouts who either competed during the 2025 season as graduate students or completed their degrees last fall — Madison Jones, Lauren McCloskey, Charlotte McClure and Tatum O'Coyne — highlighting the program's commitment to academic achievement at every stage of the student-athlete journey.
Florida soccer also posted an impressive 3.41 team GPA during the fall 2025 semester. In addition, four Gators earned 2025 College Sports Communicators Soccer All-District honors.
Six who transferred from Mississippi State to Florida for the spring 2026 semester also earned a spot on the 2025 SEC Academic Honor Roll:

To be recognized to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
