The sophomore attacker notched 11 goals and six assists against No. 19 Loyola and No. 8 Clemson
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Sophomore attacker Clark Hamilton has earned IWLCA Division I National Offensive Player of the Week honors for her performances against No. 19 Loyola and No. 8 Clemson, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
In her two games against No. 19 Loyola and No. 8 Clemson, Hamilton totaled 11 goals, six assists (17 points), on 17 shots, and scored the game winning goal in both games. This is Hamilton's first National Player of the Week honor in her career, and fourth overall player of the week honor, as she was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week three times in 2025.
At Loyola, Hamilton had a record setting day, as she poured in seven goals and four assists for 11 points, all career highs, on the day on the way to a 17-13 win. Her 11 points became the most by a sophomore in a game in program history and she became the third player to score 11 points in a game alongside Ashley Bruns (vs Siena, 2012) and Sydney Pirreca (vs. Vanderbilt, 2019). Hamilton's seven goals became tied alongside Kitty Cullen (at Penn State, 2011) and Danielle Pavinelli (at Arizona State, 2022) for most by a sophomore in a game.
Hamilton followed that performance up with four goals and two assists in a 14-13 win over Clemson. Her fourth goal of the day ended up being enough to hold off the Tigers and gave the Gators their second straight win over a ranked opponent.
The No. 7 Florida Lacrosse team is back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 25 when they take on Stetson at 6 p.m. in DeLand, Fla.
