No. 12 Florida Set to Take on No. 7 Clemson in Neutral Site Tilt

MILTON, Ga. – The No. 12/10 Florida Gators Lacrosse (1-1, 0-0 Big 12) will travel up to Milton, Georgia to take on No. 7/8 Clemson Tigers (3-1, 0-1 ACC) at 1 p.m.
The Gators come into the matchup up after grabbing their first win of season with a 17-13 win over No. 19/19 Loyola. Florida was led by Clark Hamilton's 11 points (seven goals and four assists) alongside Frannie Hahn's five points (two goals and three assists) and Caroline Hoskins three points (one goals and two assists).
Outlook on the Tigers
The Tigers are coming off a 24-5 win over Queens University. On the season the Tigers are led by Alexa Spallina with 30 points (10 goals and 20 assists) and Brooke Goldstein with 17 points (10 goals and seven assists). On defense, Teagan Scott leads the Tigers with 11 grounds balls and 16 caused turnovers and Carly Wise with 3 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers.
Allison Kowlek has been at the helm of the Clemson Lacrosse Team since their first season in 2023. She has gone 37-20 over the past three season and has won at least 11 games in those three seasons. Sophomore attacker Clark Hamilton notched 7 goals and 11 points in the Gators' 17-13 win over the Loyola Greyhounds.
Hamilton's seven goals ties Danielle Pavinelli (3/27/22 at Arizona State) and Kitty Cullen's (4/2/11 at Penn State) record for goals by a sophomore in a game and her 11 points tied a program record for points in a game as she joins Sydney Pirreca (5/2/19 vs Vanderbilt) and Ashley Bruns (2/24/12 vs Siena) as the only players to do so. Her 11 points also broke sophomore record for points in a game, which was set by Danielle Pavinelli with nine (4/4/22 at Cincinnati).
Second Half Strong
Florida's defense has come out strong the second half, giving up three goals in the second half against Loyola, all in the third quarter, and three goals in the season opener against Michigan.
100 Points Club
Frannie Hahn's five points against Loyola gave her 101 career and made her the 26th member of the Florida Lacrosse 100 points club. Hahn become tied for the third fastest player to reach 100 points, doing it in 25 games alongside Sammi Burgess.
