Alexa Lang Selected for Mexican Women’s Lacrosse National Team

GAINESVILLE, Fla – Florida Lacrosse goalkeeper Alexa Lang has been selected to the Mexican National Women's Lacrosse Team for the 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship Division II, as she will play for the Mexican Women's Lacrosse National Team. The championship takes place in Wroclaw, Poland from July 11-18.
Lang, a transfer from USF, is no stranger to the Mexican Women's Lacrosse National Team, as she represented them during the Pan-American Women's Lacrosse Championships where she played in five games and made 26 saves.
A native of Aurora, Colorado, Land was a four-star recruit in the 2025 class coming out of the John Carroll School in Maryland before joining USF for the 2025-26 season.
During her one year at The John Carroll School in 2025, Lang was named a captain and earned a Baltimore Sun AEGIS First Team All-County honor. Lang was named a USA Lacrosse High School Academic All-American in 2023 and 2025 and was named to the 2025 USA Lacrosse Top 25 National High School Player of the Year watchlist and the 2025 Adrenaline Lacrosse All-American Watchlist.
Before transferring to The John Carroll School, Lang played three seasons at Colorado Academy, where she was named a 5A West Colorado All-Conference player in 2022, '23, and '24 and was a Colorado All-State selection in 2024.
