GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The top-seeded No. 5/4 Gators booked their spot in Saturday's Big 12 Conference Championship game and extended their win streak to 12 games with their 22-7 win over UC Davis on Thursday afternoon.

The Gators were led by Frannie Hahn, who put up six points (2 G/4 A), as Caroline Hoskins and Gabbi Koury each put up three goals and one assist.

Audrey Carr led UC Davis with three goals as Rhea Cosand put up two assist and five other players had one point.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter (Gators 9, Aggies 3)

The Gators got the scoring started early, as newly named Big 12 Freshman of the Year Autumn Blair scored 40 seconds into the game, and Ava Kristynik added one 37 second later at 13:43 to make it 2-0.
UC Davis would get their first goal of the day at 12:29, as Catie McCauley scored off a Jane Fox assist. Florida would respond with three goals, all assisted, as Frannie Hahn (13:31), Clark Hamilton (9:40), and Gabbi Koury pushed to the lead to 5-1.
Following a UC Davis goal by Holly Smith at 5:30, Boo DeWitt (3:52) and Gabbi Koury (2:39), pushed the lead back to 6-2
The first quarter would end at 9-3 Gators after a UC Davis goal by Audrey Carr (1:31) and Gator goals by Ava Kristynik (1:04) and Boo DeWitt (0:11)

Second Quarter (Gators 13, Aggies 3)

After 12 combined goals in the quarter, the second quarter would only see four, all coming from the Gators
Gabbi Koury got the Gators started with her goal 14:11, as Autumn Blair (12:36), Frannie Hahn (7:57), and Autumn Blair (1:40) would give the Gators a 10-goal lead going into halftime.
In the second quarter, both goalies made a combined seven saves, with Florida's Susan Radebaugh making three and UC Davis' Emily Altshuler making four.

Third Quarter (Gators 18, Aggies 5),

The Gators would finish off their extend 8-0 run that started near the end of the first quarter with goals from Kennedy Richardson (12:05) and Caroline Hoskins (10:07) to make it 15-3 with a little over 10 minutes in the third quarter.
Audrey Carr would score their first goal for UC Davis in 24:07 of game time with her goal at 7:24.
After goals from Kaitlyn Davies (6:36) and Caroline Hoskins (4:58) that made it 17-4 for the Gators, UC Davis and Florida would trade a goal a piece at the end of the third frame. The Aggies got one from Audrey Carr at 3:18 and the Gators got one from Caroline Hoskins (1:21)

Fourth Quarter (Gators 22, Aggies 7)

UC Davis' Tory Agnew would open the scoring in the fourth with her goal at 12:56.
Carly Wilson would respond with her third goal of the season at 10:57 to push the Gators lead to 19-6 before Lauren Picardi would get her first of the day at 7:08
The Gators would get a couple of first career goals as Sophia Cardella (4:49) and Blythe Noyes (1:33) each scored before Molly Doran would push the Gators lead 22-7 with 00:13 seconds left.

Key Notes

The Gators have made their 13^th straight conference tournament championship game (14^th overall), and their second straight in the Big 12. Florida will look to win their 13^th conference tournament championship, which would be their 12^th in a row.
The Gators nine goals in the first quarter marks the fifth time they have scored at least nine goals in a quarter this season (9 in the first quarter against Stetson, 10 in the first quarter against Mercer, 10 in the first quarter against Kennesaw State, and 9 in the second quarter against UC Davis at the end of the regular season)
