
No. 12 Gators Travel Up to Baltimore for Top 20 matchup against No. 19 Loyola

Baltimore, Md. – The No. 12/10 Florida lacrosse team (0-1, 0-0 Big 12) heads up to Baltimore to take on the No. 19/19 Loyola Greyhounds (1-1, 1-0 Patriot League) at 12 p.m. on Tuesday at the Riley Sports Complex.
The Gators are coming off a 12-10 loss in the season opener against Michigan. Florida was led by Frannie Hahn with four points (1 G/3 A) and Clark Hamilton with three goals. The Gators finished with six goal scorers on the day with Kaitlyn Davies and Boo DeWitt each adding two goals, and Gabbi Koury and Gabby Greene each adding one.
Outlook on the Greyhounds
The Loyola Greyhounds come into this game off a 21-11 against Lehigh in their conference opener. After losing three of their top five goal scorers from the 2025 season, Loyola is led by Elisa Faklaris (6 goals), Ava Kane (5 goals, 2 assists), Mim Suares-Jury (5 goals, 2 assists) and Emma Talago (2 goals, 3 assists).
The Greyhounds are coached by Jen Adams, who enters her 18th season with Loyola and holds a 239-84 all-time record. During Adams' tenure at Loyola, the Greyhounds have not ended a season with less than 11 wins and have made seven consecutive NCAA tournaments.
Home Debuts
In the season opener against Michigan, eight players made their debut. Freshman Autumn Blair, Allison Fling, Caroline Hoskins, Alexa Stone, and Maya Soskin and Graduate Students Paige Crowther, Boo DeWitt, and Ava Kristynik all saw their first action as Gators.
Fling and Soskin each made their first career starts as DeWitt scored her first goal as a Gator in the first quarter. Crowther and Soskin each made their first saves as a Gators against Michigan as well.

The Gators hold an all-time record of 89-27 in regular season road games. This includes 34-7 over the last five seasons and 8-0 in 2025. The game against Loyola is the first of eight road games the Gators have in the 2026 season.
