GAINESVILLE, Fla. – More action with the U.S. Soccer U-20 National Team is coming up for rising Gator junior Abby Gemma as she's been named to the roster for the upcoming domestic training camp in Kansas City, Mo.
The camp runs from April 7-16 and includes a pair of matches versus fellow 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup qualifier Brazil:
April 11 versus Brazil CPKC Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET)
April 15 versus Brazil Riverside Stadium (3 p.m. ET)
The matches are part of Kansas City Current's inaugural Teal Rising Week (April 8-15), an event designed to celebrate global women's soccer.
Tickets for both USA-Brazil matches available here.
The camp and matches serve as continued preparations for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, set for Sept. 5-27 in Poland. Sixteen teams have qualified for the tournament with the Asia and Africa Confederations yet to qualify their combined eight representatives.
This is the third U.S. U-20 event for Gemma since late last fall. Gemma spent Thanksgiving 2025 in Spain to participate in the U.S. Soccer U-20 International Training Camp. She appeared in both matches played during that camp, including the entirety of 1-0 win versus China. Gemma also attended the U-20 training camp from Feb. 24-March 3 at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.
Gemma is one of eight invited to the 2025 Spain, February and April 2026 training camps. The camp roster includes 10 professionals and Gemma is among the 14 college players.
