AUBURN, Ala.– Florida track & field claimed its first individual championship of the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Championships on Friday, while seven Gators advanced to Saturday's final events at Auburn.

Finals
For the first time since 2018, a Gator is the men's long jump champion. Freshman Temoso Masikane captured his first SEC title under the lights at Hutsell-Rosen Track on his third jump of the competition, tallying an outdoor personal-best leap of 8.01m/26-03.50 (+0.3) to take the gold medal. He captures the first long jump crown since Grant Holloway took first at the 2018 SEC Outdoor Championships, holding the No. 8 jump in the NCAA and is No. 9 in the UF outdoor record book. The Florida men now boast 215 SEC outdoor individual titles and nine gold medals in the outdoor long jump.
