PRIOR TO FLORIDA: Ranked a four-star prospect and No. 7 weakside defensive end in the country by Rivals.com ... Recorded 77 tackles, 14 sacks and two interceptions during his junior season ... Named FSWA 4A Second Team All-State in 2008 ... Recorded 95 tackles, a league high of 22 sacks, picked off two passes and batted down a school record 15 passes during his senior season ... Earned All-League honors in 2009 ... Participated in the 2009 Aloha Prep Bowl ... Also played track and basketball in high school ...
