The Gators head to Jacksonville for their first meet of the season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators Men's and Women's Cross Country teams are back in action on Friday, Aug. 29 in Jacksonville, as they take on the Florida Intercollegiate Invitational to start the 2025 season. The regular season opener will feature 11 total Gators, including six men and five women.
The Gators find themselves at the Florida Invitational for the first time since 2018, after it was canceled during the 2023 season. The Orange and Blue took home a first place finish in the Women's 3k and a second place finish in the Men's 5k.

The USTFCCCA projected the women's team to finish 11th in the nation, as the SEC gave them a second place nod. The men's team was given a USTFCCCA Regional recognition in the seventh place spot with an 11th place projection in the SEC.
The Women's 5k will begin at 7:00 p.m., with the Men's 8k following at 7:30 p.m. Live results for Friday's meet can be found here.
