Quotes from the Court
Head Coach Ryan Theis
…on Friday's victory
"I thought we did every skill well through two-and-a-half sets, except for maybe attacking. I thought we maybe fed their block a little bit too much, but credit to them for getting their hands in good spots. I do think we played really good defense, our block touched a ton of balls. We served well from a good passing team perspective, we didn't error ourselves out of any sets. A lot of things went well, we just didn't attack our cleanest.
…on the value Taylor Parks adds to the team
"She's a really dynamic player that can change on a dime, like if we need to reverse it to Logan [King], front row, back row, if we need to speed up the tempo, if we need to get Alec [Rothe] above the blockers, she's really good adjusting throughout the match and making everybody feel comfortable."
